To understand John chapter 17 you have to understand Genesis chapter 1 verses 1-3, as those are the FIRST THREE verses in the Bible. Verse one states "in the beginning God created"...verse two states "and the Spirit hovered"...verse three states "and God said let there be Light"...now, what did you just learn? The eternal plan of the Godhead was taught straightaway in the first three verses of the Bible. The Godhead created, and then Holy Spirit was hovering, and waiting to bear witness of the Word, which was also the eternal Light, that would come forth from the Father. That Word and Light is the Son, Jesus, that comes forth from the Father in Genesis chapter 1 verse 3. Now, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit mentioned in John chapter 17, was ALWAYS declared to be the eternal witness of the truth of the Word and Light, Jesus, in the earth, and that's why Jesus said the Holy Spirit would speak of Him, Jesus. When Jesus was saying these things to His disciples, He was declaring a reboot of the ENTIRE plan of the Godhead, that was ALREADY determined to be the eternal plan and purpose of God for His creation. When mankind fell into sin, they lost the understanding of God from the beginning of creation, and Jesus came to restore the eternal order of God in the earth. Now, which prophet and book are trying to lead you away from this eternal plan of God once again, my friends?

We all are sinners. Does it mean we shouldn’t change ourselves just because we were wrong and guilty once in our lives?
